And then flip and not be breech? My doctor knew she was breech, but told me to give Sloane a chance to turn. As far as the 4D ultrasound - at every place around here, you sign something agreeing that it's just for fun. They don't even tell the doctor you're having it, even though I had mine in the same clinic. If the ultra sound tech saw that Sloane looked like she had a birth defect, she still would not have said anything as far as I know. However, I don't think she believed anything to be wrong. The cord can be wrapped around a neck and it's usually a non-issue, but combined with the breech position she was in late in pregnancy a c-section should have been scheduled to ensure a safe delivery. The Blackmonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13453344467036179610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026970226919612212.post-47828141296554834842014-04-11T23:36:15.195-07:002014-04-11T23:36:15.195-07:00Wow. One point I'm confused over is whether or not the doctor accidentally broke your water or she did it intentionally without first explaining what she needed to do. Also, you're saying an ultrasound that clearly showed a cord wrapped several times around Sloane's neck was performed earlier in your pregnancy, and it wasn't caught? Even though it's not diagnostic, how can that be? I would think a competent US tech would see something that obvious and alert your doctor.<br />Forgive this lengthy comment; it's that I'm trying to better understand what happened.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17622862564807336920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026970226919612212.post-54136887041890044542014-04-11T20:19:54.906-07:002014-04-11T20:19:54.906-07:00Perhaps an angel saw the distress Miss Sloane was ...Perhaps an angel saw the distress Miss Sloane was experiencing and intervened!
